YES - Malta

What is YES?
YES is a 2 week summer camp for youths aged between 10 - 15 years, organised by local and international volunteers. Every year new volunteers join YES to organise 2 jam-packed weeks full of fun and educational activities. Through various activities, this project encourages youths to join in, have fun and develop a healthy, active and positive lifestyle. 

​Camp Activities include: Crafts, Outings, Water Games, Talent Show, Science Experiments, Treasure Hunts, Cooking, a day at the water park, indoor games, sports, swimming, educational activities and more.

This project is also aimed at the holistic formation of new volunteers and seeks to create a community feeling in a Salesian environment, where the volunteers live together for the 2 weeks and cook, eat, clean, plan, relax and have fun together.

Every year YES looks forward to host 3 international volunteers.

We would like to invite you to join us, enjoy our sun and sea, and have fun with us! :)

Who can join? 
Volunteers have to be over 18 years.

What are the expenses?
We will be providing food and accommodation (in Senglea). All you have to do is pay for your flight ticket, and get some pocket money with you.

When will it be?
Every year YES is held during July. Our next camp will be held between the 06th and 20th July, 2025.

The 2026 Summer Camp will be held in July 2026, exact dates for the camp to be determined in the months to come.

Where will it be?
The camp is held in a Salesian convent in Senglea (one of the historical 3 Cities of Malta).

What about the language?
In Malta, both Maltese and English are official languages. It is very important that you know how to speak English. During the camp we will be using both languages :)
