(EVS)VA Short Term in Don Bosko Centar Podgorica, Montenegro

 Project description:
This project is a short-term (EVS) VA, for 8 volunteers who will be hosted by Centar za  obrazovanje i odgoj Don Bosko (CooDB) in Podgorica, Montenegro for the second time. Volunteers will work with the rest of the staff on preparation, organization and implementation of different activities and workshops for children
and young adults.

Who can participate
Animators from Italy, Spain, Malta and Germany,  aged between 18 to 25 years old, that have already experience working with kids from 4 to 17 years and are highly motivated.

There will be two main types of activities:

1. Indoor activities including workshops, simulation games, role plays, manual activities which will be held in the Youth Center Don Bosko;
2. Outdoor activities including games and sports in the playgrounds in the city;

Main activity will last from 11 June to 1 July 2018: 
After team building activities (EVS) VA volunteers will meet HO team and presented with the programme. The final preparations will be handled by the animators and international volunteers, both contributing with ideas and efforts.

Activities for children:
Summer oratory will begin on the 18th of June and  last until 29th of June. Activities for children will be held in the morning from 9:00 to 13:00 every working day. In the second week, from 25th to 28th June one group of EVS volunteers together with some of the animators will go on a 4-day camp with children from eight and ninth grade.

Visiting different playgrounds:
During the same week, the oratory continues in the Youth center with usual activities, whilst in the afternoon animators and volunteers will go to different playgrounds in the city to entertain children they find on the streets. They will be introduced to DB center and its objectives and methods, which will be a new experience to them.

Oratory:
Oratory includes activities such as: educational workshops, simulation games, role plays, quizzes, manual activities, energizers, dances, sports and  games. It will also include two trips to the sea for children and  animators/volunteers.

Costs
Costs are covered by Erasmus+ (Flight tickets, accommodation, food and even will get pocket money).
10% of travel costs which will be deducted from the reimbursement done after the service.
